Vintage Thomas Webb Lead Crystal Wellington Pattern Wine Decanter (Code 1623)

A Thomas Webb lead crystal glass wine decanter in the Wellington pattern.  It has a zip cut neck and the original matching stopper.  The base on this design is a separate thick glass disc which is hot fixed to the body during production and star cut, this helps to keep the item stable when full.  Likely dates 1970-80, no makers mark probably as there is no flat section to the base for it to go. 

 

Good order, slight wear, a tiny nick to the stopper peg, fine to use.
