Description
A vintage sterling silver brooch in the form of a bug. It has plique-a-jour enamel wings and body. The body is set with a lab created opal. There is also a blue topaz and the eyes are small glass filled rubies. Around the topaz and to the leading edge of the wings it is set with marcasites. To the underside it is stamped 925 for sterling silver.

Condition: The top of one marcasite along with wing edge has chipped off and there is a fracture through another marcasite. Otherwise good order.
