Vintage Indian/Eastern Pure Silver & Turquoise Cabochon Bangle Bracelet (A1277)

Description
A very attractive vintage hand made silver bangle. It is unusual in being made of pure silver rather than sterling or a lower grade and is marked silver 1000 on one of the end tabs. The bangle has two lines of turquoise cabochons which are probably of Persian origin and there are decorative wire work details and a highly polished band down the centre. The silver under the wire work is intentionally black oxidised to provide contrast. There are no makers marks and it is perhaps Indian or middle Eastern in origin and dates to the mid 20th century.
Currently sized at 17cms but can be adjusted by carefully banding the band. Please note pure silver is much softer than sterling and is best kept for special occasions rather than daily use.
