Description

An interesting wand with a quartz point and quartz ball at the other end.  It is set with silver ferrules with each ferrule having a garnet cabochon.  The ferrules are quite chunky and there may well be other elements set inside them.  The shaft is hardwood and carved into a spiral form and is wrapped with silver wire.  There are no marks or hallmarks but we have tested the metal as sterling silver. The maker is unknown.   All the crystals are natural and have inclusions typical of their type. 
 

Condition

Minor age related wear. The crystal ball has what appear to be natural flaws in the surface creating indents.  The crystal point has a natural flaw to the underside with a piece out of the surface. The garnets are nice bright examples.  The crystal ball is free to rotate in the mount.
