Description
A vintage 9ct gold ring with an oval facet cut colour change sapphire. It shows as purple in the day light and inky blue in the shade, it also goes red under UV/black light. The stone is lab grown Lab grown stones are identical to natural gems and test the same but they are generally free of impurities and faults unlike mined stones. As they are created in a lab they do not have the environment issues of mined stones or have the worry of social problems making them an increasingly popular choice.
The stone is approx 4 carats in size and is set in an attractive mount with a multi prong fixing and open petal head. The shoulders are trifurcated and the band is plain. Inside the band it has a hallmark for 9 carat gold with the date letter for 1977.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation gift box.
