Vintage 9ct Gold Ring Victorian Design With Large Garnets & White Topaz Accents (Code A699)

Description

A vintage 9 carat gold ring set with three garnets and two rows of white topaz gemstones. The three garnets are oval facet cut and the topaz stones are round facet cut.  It is in the Victorian style which came back into fashion in the 1970's as with this example here.  The garnets are good large examples with nice tones and a hint of orange and the decorative shoulders add extra interest.  Full Birmingham hallmark for 9 carat gold inside the band with date code for 1978.  There is also a maker's mark KR.
