Set of Six Antique Moser Bohemian Overlayed & Gilded Wine / Liqueur Glasses (Code 2159)

A set of six fine quality Moser Bohemian drinking glasses dating circa 1900. They have conical bowls and cut stems with flower cut feet. The bowls are overlayed in deep royal blue glass and then cut back to form a band of panels. The clear glass has been gilded with alternate vermiform and leaf designs. There are no makers marks which is correct for this form at the period.

Originally these would have been used for wine and liqueurs etc, the bowl sizes are however smaller than we use today for wine so if you plan to use them stronger drinks would be more appropriate. Beautiful items and of course of fine quality as expected of Moser glass.



Condition

Very good for period, some wear to the gilt rims. Two glasses have more wear to the rim gilt than the other four, the most worn example is used for the single glass images for you.
