Royal Worcester Hand Painted Covered Vase with Pheasants by James Stinton 1930 (2954)
Description
An early 20th century Royal Worcester vase hand painted with pheasants at the edge of woodland. The sky is depicted in stormy manner and there are two further pheasants heading skywards (obscured by the lighting flash in the main image). It is signed by the artist to the lower left of the main image.
The vase is of twin handled form and pattern number 2701 first produced in 1919 and was still in production in the 1980's. This example dates to 1930 during the Art Deco period. The vase has the cover as shown which is gilded to the topside.
It has the Worcester mark in pink to the underside with the date code and the registered design number for the vase body.
Condition
Very good order, slight wear only.
