Description

An early 20th century hand painted vase from Royal Worcester.  It is a mini trumpet shaped vase and the smallest of the trumpet series making for a very sweet looking piece.  It is hand painted with a male and female pheasant in a Scottish style landscape.  It is signed to the lower left of the painting JAS Stinton for James Stinton.  To the underside it has the Worcester printed mark in puce with the date code for 1933 and G923, the body shape.  
 
 

Condition

Very good for period.  A few tiny  blips in the rim from firing, largest shown in close up and the gilding is a little heavy and thick in places around the base from production.
