Pair Martin Hall Antique Victorian Hallmarked Silver Corinthian Candlesticks (Code 1641)

A pair of hallmarked silver candlesticks by Martin, Hall & Co of Sheffield.  Although made in Sheffield the hallmark is for London 1889 making these items Victorian in period.  They have very attractive spiral fluted columns and corinthian capitals.  The drip pans are removable and the bases are also fluted.  The hallmarks are shown for you and there are also registered design numbers stamped to the edge of the base.  Good quality examples as expected for this silversmiths.

 

They have the usual small dents and knocks around the bases.  Some rubbing of the hallmarks but still discernible as seen in the images.  Base felts are replacements.
