Description
A pair of late 19th century Staffordshire pottery spaniel dogs. These are quite large examples at 11.5 inches high. They have brick red markings with black details and antique gold tone collars. These dogs were typically placed on the mantlepiece or in a window. A good showy pair to make a feature display.
Condition
Paint much better than usual for period. Age related crazing as expected. An impact glaze chip to the front of one, other minor glaze chips and slight paint losses.
