Description

A very nice pair of Victorian salts in sterling silver with cranberry glass liners.  They have Anglo Indian style designs with Hindu type figures running around the exterior.  They sit on four bun feet.  They are hallmarked from the London office with date letter for 1888 and the makers mark for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd.  
 

Condition

Silver generally good.  One pot has open holes to the feet although these look intentional, the other has an opening along the seam of the bun foot to the interior side. One of the liners is a little lighter in colour to the other.  Some minor chips and nibbles to the glass liners.
