Description
A pair of late 19th century Victorian earrings. They are of oval form with decorative detail and a rose gold top. They are fitted with screw back fixings which are working fine, these are early 20th century adaptions (they likely had plain wires originally). The screws backs are marked to the post with a European 835 silver mark, there is a name but it is unclear. There are no hallmarks the the earrings which is common, however there is a sponsors mark AJS likely for Arthur Johnson Smith of Birmingham. The main bodies of the earrings are hollow.
