Description
A pair of antique cut steel earrings dating to the Georgian period. They are of particularly of long length for the type. There is a central spur with an articulated cross to each earring and they have ear wires for pierced ears. The backers appear to be brass as is typical of French examples of the period. There are of course no makers details which is correct for this type of item. Items like this are now very scarce and the large size makes them even more unusual.

Condition: Some aging of the metal as expected. Slight deformations but nothing significant. We have just given these a gentle clean to keep the period look, they will of course polish to a high shine if that is your preferred look.
