Chinese Cast Bronze Libation Cup Shaped Vessel with Dragon and Flaming Pearl (Code 1987)

A Chinese cast bronze and brown patinated vessel.  It is in the shape of a libation cup but with a pedestal base having elephant head feet.  The handle is in the form of a bough with flower head adornment.  The sides of the cup are decorated with a stylised form of a dragon chasing a flaming pearl and are very attractively done.  There are no apparent marks, and although it has a little wear it is a late 20th century decorative example.

Condition

Minor wear and the odd small rub.  One foot trunk bent over a little.
