Description
A Victorian period necklace made from natural banded agate. The beads are hand polished and measure from 7.9mm to 17mm in diameter. The banding is random as this is a natural material. It closes with a standard spring ring which is marked sterling, this is probably a later replacement as the original fitting was probably brass in keeping with the jump rings. The cord is double threaded and is hand done. These necklaces are now very sought after and becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.

Condition: Beads generally good with minor wear. The odd bead with some surface chipping but nothing which spoils the item. Spring ring working fine.
