Description

An early 19th century Georgian period Staffordshire jug c.1810.  It has a distinctive brown glaze and is printed with a yellow Chinoiserie design including temples and a bridge.  There are no makers marks to the underside which is usual for this type.  The interior has a thick clear glaze with a slightly greenish pearlware look to it.  
 
 

Condition

Particularly good for period.  Some light wear and scratches.  Minor production flaws/inconsistency in print as normal.  Crazing to interior glaze.
