Antique Hukin & Heath Large Sterling Silver Cruet Frame / Liqueur Stand - 1910 (2985)
Description
An Edwardian silver frame by Hukin & Heath. It has a Birmingham hallmark for 1910 along with the makers mark. It is quite a substantial item for it's type at nearly half a kilo of solid silver. The rim is gadrooned and there are anthemion terminals around the periphery. The bottle holder is secured to the base via nuts underneath (one missing). The holders have a diameter of 36mm for the smaller hoops and 65mm for the larger hoops.
At the size it could be either a cruet stand or a liqueur stand for two small decanters and six cups.
Condition
Normal light age related wear and marks. No major dents or knocks. One securing nut missing from the underside.
