Antique Georgian Silver Decanter Label - Madeira - London 1825 by George Knight (Code 1133)
Description
An early 19th century George IV Regency period silver decanter label. It has the London hallmark for 1825 impressed to the reverse. The label is of canted rectangular form and is gently curved to fit around a bottle or decanter and it has a reeded border. The engraving is for Madeira (wine) and it is fitted with a rolo type chain. The maker is George Knight.
