Description
A beautiful antique 9ct gold bar brooch set with a round facet cut aquamarine (tested). The stone is set in a rub over mount and it likely dates to the Edwardian or early Art Deco period. It has a long pin with an open work catch. There is also a small eyelet to the back of the bar to allow use of a safety chain. It has a 9ct mark to the back of the bar.
The aquamarine is a good colour and clarity and in very good order considering the period.
