Description
A 19th century Victorian period hand painted Coalport China cabinet plate. It is dessert plate sized and features a central view horses in a rural setting. It has a scalloped rim lavishly finished in gold dash work and further gilt work with details patterns around the outer section. Old collectors label to the reverse, unmarked aside a pattern or decorators number which is common for the period.
Condition
A good example for the period with very little wear to the gilt. Spur marks to the foot rim from firing in the kiln to the reverse.
