Description
An Art Deco period bar brooch with a target style centre. It has concentric rings with the centre having a 2.5mm round cut natural blue sapphire. Flanking this on the arrow shaped bars are diamonds of graduating size in old style cuts, largest is 2mm. There are no marks at all, however the gold tests as 14 carat and is topped with a platinum bar. The pin does not appear to be a precious metal. To the back is a loop for attachment of a safety chain.
A beautifully crafted and a very elegant period piece.
