Description
An antique Art Deco period ring set with a large approx. 2.75 carat natural amethyst gemstone which is oval facet cut. It is bezel set with a dentil surround and rope twist below. There is decorative details to the shoulders and the band is plain. The band is rose gold and the head is yellow gold. Inside the band it has a Chester hallmark which is somewhat rubbed but can still be made out and the date letter is for 1920.
A very attractive piece of Art Deco period jewellery.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation box.

Condition: Generally good for period with minor wear to the gold and the hallmark rubbed to the interior. Amethyst good for period with little wear. Ring resized in the distant past with slight witness marks visible at the shoulders. This has been well done and the ring is perfectly stable. Professionally cleaned and polished, ready to wear or gift.
