Description
A 9ct gold necklace and earring set. Both items are set with star sapphires with a warm grey/brown tone. Star sapphires give the amazing effect of a glowing starburst when they are in a strong point light source. In diffused light they look like a dark version of moonstone. The dropper of the pendant also has three tiny diamonds. The chain has a Sheffield hallmark for 1980. There is a further gold hallmark to the pendant which is a little small to make out accurately. The pendant and earrings are quite dainty and subtle. The earrings are of stud form with butterfly backs and are for pierced ears. The sapphires are most likely lab grown, and have the same properties as a mined stone and also test as sapphire. The diamonds are natural mined.
