9ct Gold Facet Cut Welo Opal & Diamond Ring TGGC Hallmarked 2012 Size R (Code A628)

Description

A 9ct gold ring set with a welo opal with diamond accents.  The opal is oval and facet cut giving a beautiful play of greens and orange/peach tones.  The opal is 8.9 by 7 mm approx 1.2 carats.  The ring is marked inside the band with a full Birmingham hallmark for 9ct gold and with the date letter for 2012.  This ring is from the TGGC collection and they were using welo opals for these designs during that period.   The main stone is flanked by six small diamonds set lower down in the shoulders.  The images don't do the opal justice as it has a beautiful play of colour in the light.

The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation box.
