Description
A nice example of a late 18th century Georgian dwarf ale glass in English lead glass. The bowl is etched with hops and barley on opposing sides and the glass is quite finely blown an of better quality material than usual for this period. Below the bowl is a knop with short stem to a basal swelling. The foot is conical and folded with a rough snapped pontil scar. Dates c1780-1800
Condition
Very good for period, and a nice example. There are three pips of stray glass adhered to the underside of the foot from production, visible in the images.
