Description
A very unusual vintage 9ct gold ring with a huge oval cabochon. The cabochon appears to be hand made glass with pink/purple tones under the surface and gold spots with iridescence. The cabochon is bezel set with a rope twist border. The band is bifurcated at the shoulders. Inside the band it has an older style 9ct mark generally used in the mid 20th century. The item is likely 1950's or 60's in period. It has a unique look and the large size makes it a stand out piece.
The ring comes in a new presentation box as seen in the images.
