Description
A 1970's vintage 9ct gold ring set with a black intaglio medallion. It features a Roman centurion with helmet and plume. The shoulders are trifurcated and the intaglio is set in a bezel mount. Inside the band it has a London hallmark for 9ct gold with the date letter for 1970. It is also marked DHJ which is likely the maker.
The ring comes in a new presentation box as seen in the images.

Condition: There are a couple of chips to the intaglio, one near the helmet plume and a much smaller one diagonally opposite. Gold band in good order.
