Description

A very unusual antique cameo brooch.  The shell is carved with one figure swimming and the other about to dive into the water.  The costumes suggest an early 20th century date during the Edwardian period.  The frame is in 9 carat gold with a 9ct applied pad mark to the reverse.  The brooch has a standard pin and hook closure and it also comes with the safety chain (which is not gold).

Condition: Good for period with some minor wear.  Hinge and catch working fine.   Ready to wear or gift.
