Antique 22ct Gold Half Sovereign Pendant In 9ct Gold Mount Edwardian (A1907)

Description
A half sovereign pendant in a 9ct gold mount. The sovereign is dated for 1905 making it Edward VII in period. The sovereign is of course in 22ct gold. The mount is of open work form with circular details and a diamond cut border around the sovereign. The sovereign is held in with tabs so can be unmounted if required in future. The mount is hallmarked for 9ct gold from the London assay office. The mark is somewhat unclear and very small but appears to be for 1933 which is quite early for this type of piece. The makers mark is S K. The mount has an integrated fixed bale and should fit chains up to 3mm.
